Thanks to everyone who has posted so far, as suggested By Benjamin i will post a tip of the day, on the occasion i can think of some !

Todays tip is :

If you are finding that nails are splitting the wood you are using, try tapping the end of the nail with a hammer to make the actual point flatter, this will often stop the splitting!

If not obviously you could pilot drill holes first!
