This is a blog for Cobwood Brothers Ltd.
We are a traditional Ironmongers that has been established in one form or another for over 100 years.
We have started this blog as a way to help those who maybe have D.I.Y. Problems, questions or just would like to speak to us in Cardiff.
We stock Electrical goods, Timber Mouldings, Plumbing Goods, General Ironmongery, Nails loose by the 1/2 kg , Screws Loose (no funnies please), Paraffin off the tap, it really is The Traditional Ironmongers made famous in the "Four Candles" sketch from the two Ronnies.

An ironmonger is similar to a hardware
store on your side of the pond, and a blog, why not?
It's an idea that was floated by me, as a way to gain a prescence on the internet cheaply.
Hi Steff, used to live in Splott and come to your store when my mate was doing up his house! Now live in Aber, so can't pop in and say hello. Brilliant idea for a blog mind, keep it up!
Small shops are the way forward - personal, friendly, helpful service and quality stuff. It means everything.
